What is a Structure?
A structure must be strong enough to support it's weight and whatever load is put on it. A structure can be natural, such as plants, trees, honeycombs, webs, animal skeletons, or artificial (constructed), such as a car, bridges, cranes, buildings, ladders, roofs, and domestic furniture. a structure contains a product, supports an object and protects.
there are three types of structures: Mass (Solid) Structures;
Frame Structures;
Shell structures.
Mass Structures Mass Structures are solid structures which rely on their own weight to resist loads.
Some examples of mass structures are: pyramids, sand castles, snow sculptures, bricks, dam and food such as cakes and breads
